Fishing package for the lodge in $USD:
October to December 2010: Trip price $ 5 300
January to April 2011: Trip price $ 5 500
Single occupancy supplement : $ 1 400

Included in the package price:

Itinerary Outline

Getting to the lodge is via international flight to either Sao Paulo in Brazil then domestic flight to Manaus, or via Atlanta to Manaus (other routing is also available). We can arrange flights as required.
The cost of the international and domestic flight combined is approx $2500. The air travel costs will be according to the airline and routing. For example - Qantas have a direct service to Buenos Aires on Wednesdays which is a cheaper flight and allows for 2 extra nights to explore Buenos Aires (activities, tranfres etc arranged). Delta airlines have a more expensive flight but you can leave Mel on Friday morning and be in Manaus late Friday night (local time). There are various options and your needs will determine the best option.

Friday
Arrive Manaus. You will be greeted by our Agua Boa representative and transferred to your accommodation.
Overnight in Manaus at a hotel of your choice. ** NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE

Accommodation in Manaus varies in price dependant on hotel. The Tropical is where most of the guests stay and the lodge has an agreement in place which makes this overnight around $250 per night. Full rate at the tropical is over $600 per night. There are cheaper hotel options in Manaus and this can be arranged to suit you. This accomodation will be payed for directly to the hotel.
The tropical has a zoo on the grounds wchich houses many different types of monkeys and other animals. I enjoyed spending some time with the young male jaguar. There are also 2 species of peacock bass in the ornamental pond next to the pool with another pond holding freshwater turtles with a shell over a metre wide. The peacocks only came out occassionally but were nice fish to watch.

Saturday 06.00 (approx.) Depart Manaus airport by private charter.
08.30 (approx.) Arrival at lodge with Champagne Reception.
Breakfast will be served.
Morning free to unpack and settle in, or get on the river!
Lunch, followed by an afternoons fishing.
18.00 Return to the Lodge for a relaxing glass of Caipirinha.
19.30 Evening meal.

Sunday to Friday
From 06.00 Breakfast.
From 07.00 Full days fishing.
Midday Lunch on the river.
18.00 Arrive back at the Lodge for a relaxing glass of Caipirinha.
19.30 Evening meal.

Saturday
From 06.00 Breakfast.
09.00 (approx.) Depart for Manaus by private charter.

You can modify the itinerary to suit yourself within the framework above. For example you may wish to return to the lodge for lunch, start fishing later or finish earlier.
