Renowned for its monster rainbows, Lake Strobel may be the very best rainbow trout fishery on this planet at the moment.

Fishing is in
- Lake Strobel itself, with good access to "Monsters Bay" and
- "El Puesto", an amazing part of the lake in the far east limit of the Estancia which opened last season
- 15 other smaller lakes located on the estancia
- the Barrancoso River aka Jurassic River of which 8kms runs through the estancia

A guide is provided for each 2 anglers and 4wd vehicles, ATV's and boats are used as required. The guides will utilise all opportunities to prioritise sight casting to cruising fish.

The season runs from the start of November till the end of April with the last 2 weeks of April classed as the low season.

Accommodation is at Estancia Laguna Verde Fishing Lodge which has everything the travelling fly fisher could want. Excellent meals, wader room, internet access, comfortable lodgings with ensuite batroom, 24/7 electricity and a team of staff whom will make your stay memorable.

Recently the access has been much improved and the lake is well accesible within the Estancia with a 25 minute drive on normal dirt road seeing you arrive at Jurassic Lake.

Package includes transfers to/from Calafate, accommodation, all meals, all drinks, fully guided fishing, satellite TV and internet.

Weekly Package Price for new season (2011/2012) is U$D 5200 p/angler for 6 1/2 days fishing and 7 nights accommodation.
