The Seychelles is made up of 115 islands and a Seychellois
population of about 80 000 people from varied and diverse cultural
backgrounds. The location is remote, population is small, exclusive
economic zone is large and the natural environment is pristine.
This makes for some astounding fly fishing opportunities and places
the Seychelle Islands amongst the most exclusive travel destinations
on this planet.
Any chance to visit this part of the world should
be actively pursued and it is definitely right up there on the wish
list.
Exotic islands, French culture and chefs, perfect climate, creole
menus and the special feeling only an exclusive experience can give
you.
The inner islands are typically old granite islands
and hold most of the local human population. Bonefish and trevally,
as well as a host of other species, are found throughout the Seychelles
and good fly fishing can be had right on the main island of Mahe
or any of the other inner islands.
Staying at Le Fishermans Wharf, on Mahe, for our first night in
the Seychelles there was a bonefish tailing over a raised weed bed
as the tide started to rise and walking along the wall at high tide
I saw a number of milkfish. Location
